What is Avail (AVAIL)?

Avail is a modular blockchain infrastructure that aims to improve scalability, interoperability, and data availability within the broader Web3 ecosystem. It is based on the Substrate framework and uses a Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) consensus mechanism. Avail serves as a data availability layer that realizes efficient data validation and trust-minimized interoperability for Layer 2 rollups, sovereign blockchains, and cross-chain applications.Aavail was co-founded by Anurag Arjun, and Prabal Banerjee, and became independent in 2023 after being part of the Polygon ecosystem. Aavail is designed to allow next-generation blockchain applications to be a neutral, scalable base layer.

What is the AVAIL Token? 

The AVAIL token is the native asset of the Avail blockchain and facilitates transaction fees, staking, and governance. Token holders can validate the network, govern protocol decisions, and pay for blockspace on Avail's data availability layer. The AVAIL token is an important component of blockchain efficiency and decentralization.

Where Can I Purchase AVAIL Token?

AVAIL tokens can be purchased and traded on numerous crypto exchanges (CEXs). Some exchanges that provide the option to purchase AVAIL include HTX, Gate.io, Bithumb, MEXC, KuCoin, Bybit and Bitget.
