What is Creditcoin (CTC)?

Creditcoin (CTC) is a decentralized credit network that operates intending to establish a transparent and trustless global credit economy. This decentralized lending protocol provides a platform to allow lenders and borrowers to record, confirm, and manage credit transactions on an immutable public ledger. The use of a public ledger allows individuals to create a verifiable credit history, as well as provide access to various financial services for previously unbanked individuals and others who may not have the records traditionally needed to verify their creditworthiness.

Launched on April 4, 2019, by Gluwa(a blockchain-based financial platform focused on decentralized credit and investment solutions) , the development team of Creditcoin is predominantly located in the US, Canada, South Korea, Nigeria, and Estonia. The founding team was comprised of Tae Oh, Scott Hasbrouck, Sung Choi, Vladimir Kouznetsov, and David Lebee.
