What Is Wrapped Tron (WTRX)?

Wrapped TRON (WTRX) acts as a bridge between TRON (TRX) and the Ethereum blockchain network. This is achieved through a wrapping process, TRX coins are pegged on a 1:1 ratio with WTRX tokens, which are issued on another blockchain.

It is an ERC-20 token representing Tron (TRX) allowing users to access the Ethereum blockchain ecosystem without converting their original tokens.

For example, If you want to use TRX on Ethereum-based Defi platforms, you must wrap your TRX into WTRX and use it as an ERC-20.

How Does WTRX Work?
